VESTAMENTUM

What is Vestamentum? Well, basically it's an extension of Roman Sims. I created it as a home for some of my other period skins that don't fit on this page. I consider this place well worth a visit. ;-)

HOUSE OF THE DOLPHIN

Back in the day, (as many of you probably remember) this was a section of Roman Sims. HoD was a sim-based story that followed the lives of an ancient Roman family with pictures and new downloads in each episode. It was an innovative and cool idea, but as it turns out, there's a reason why this sort of thing isn't done too much-- it's a lot of trouble. I decided that making downloads, creating new stories, AND taking pictures from the game for every update was just too time-consuming. Also, many of the downloads here are pretty primitive or have been replaced by better ones. You are welcome to browse this site, but do so at your own risk-- I DO NOT support anything on this site anymore and will not answer any questions about it, so PLEASE DO NOT E-MAIL ME ABOUT THIS!

CONSTANTINE'S ROMAN SIMS

This site has lots of really big cool Roman houses and some downtown buildings as well.

SIMULATES HOMINES ROMAE

Anna has created some nice Roman skins and faces for your collection.

DELICIAE ROMAE

Aurelia hasn't been into Roman simming for very long, but already she has an impressive site with some very nice skins. Please pay a visit!

DIES ROMANARUM VITARUM

This site is sort of based on some stories about Roman characters on our forum, but it includes some great skins and floors right now!

Emil Does a little bit of everything. There are skins, wall, floors, and even some neat objects here!

This site has a bit of everything including some really great walls and floors and some objects as well.

TOKAGE SIMS

I really like this site! They do some neat things with grottos and shelving. The dragon on the front page is awesome too!  Some of it is in French, but that shouldn't stop you! Have a look.

SIC ET SIMPLICITER

I kind of stumbled onto this site. As a matter of fact, I really know very little about it. However, they offer a good variety of walls and floors, many of which are Roman in nature. If you are looking for more variety in your Roman decor, try here.

THE SIMS

This is the primary, numerous uno, web site relating to the Sims. Created and maintained by Maxis, it should be every Sim Lover's definitive source for news and information as well as technical support.

NOVA ROMA

This site isn't related to the Sims at all, but it is perhaps one of the most interesting sites I have ever seen. The site belongs to an organization devoted to preserving Roman history and culture. They have even set up a group that actively participates in the state religion of ancient Rome! There are tons of pages of detailed information about Roman history and culture, plus pictures of people in Roman dress. There are also great instructions for making some of your own roman clothing and accessories. For those of you looking for Roman names for your sims, they have a HUGE list. Definitely worth a look by anyone interested in ancient Rome.

I really love the modern theme of this site... I'm a real push-over for modern furniture and this place does a super job! Great site design as well!

FIRST VERSE

This is a site by my very dear friend Shelly, formally of Simthings. The site features a creative concept and some very well done skins. Poetry and Sims... how can one go wrong? 

MIFFY'S SIMS ARCHITECTURAL SUPPLIES

As you can guess, I'm fascinated by well researched, carefully planned buildings in the Sims. Normally, I don't choose to download other people's buildings, but the work on this site is truly beautiful. In addition, the building elements are high quality and highly useful. After visiting this site you may think twice about not downloading buildings!

PERSIMMON GROVE

I simply can't offer enough praise for this site. A very unique concept and some truly ground-breaking objects. The wonderful glass roofs and the astounding collection of greenery and ground covering make this site a must see. I've downloaded almost everything they offer!

SIMULATION

Like 7 Deadly Sims, these folks really know their objects. There isn't all that much content to be found here, but all of it is of the highest possible quality and free as well. I especially recommend it for those people who, like me, love the modern look.

SIM FREAKS

If you haven't been here, you must be crazy! They have some great downloads. I especially like their skins, probably the best out there. They are home to the two best mesh-makers on the internet, Jerome and Fionn and many other sites use their work! This is a must see site!

3D DESIGN FOR THE SIMS BY JEROME

This great page will get you started making your own body meshes in no time! Jerome is the master mesher who has created such things as the high heal skin and the roman army skins on this site.

KELAHN.COM

This site offers a wonderful tutorial on getting started in meshing for your skins. In addition, there is a download here for an absolutely essential piece of software for anyone who wishes to mesh! This site is definitely worth a look if you are interested in this challenging and rewarding field.

SEVEN DEADLY SIMS

I just had to mention this site as a web site designer. The spectacular interface and arty look will just blow you away! This is the ONLY site for objects. I just love it!

OPHELIA'S SIM PAGE

With such a good Roman name, how could I NOT like this site? But seriously, I love the cool gothic-style objects and skins. Her houses are really great too. I love the church and graveyard.
